How does affiliate marketing work?
Affiliate marketing simply involves sending potential customers to the web sites of the vendors you're affiliated with and getting paid a commission from any purchases made by those customers. These commission payments typically range between 10% and 50% of the purchase price.What will it cost?
Most affiliate programs are free to join, but after you join, you may incur some costs to advertise whatever it is you're trying to promote as an affiliate. Firstly find a product or service area that is in demand and that you are interested in. Then locate a high quality company that has a solid reputation for paying its affiliates. It is good to affiliate with more than one company so that you have multiple income streams should one company go bankrupt or produce poor results. Eventually you may wish to affiliate with 6 or more companies but initially while you are learning it would be good to concentrate on just 2 or 3.
